Find a reference listing
Select your location in an Australian TV guide and record the channel, programme and advertised local time. Sydney, Brisbane and Perth viewers should use their own location, even when checking the same network brand. An interstate feed can display a plausible programme name at the wrong hour.
Separate clock issues from feed issues
- Check the date, time zone and automatic clock on your viewing device.
- Compare what is actually playing with the broadcaster’s listing for your location.
- If one whole feed is different, check the channel edition before editing an EPG offset.
- If multiple feeds share the same time shift, examine the player’s guide-time or offset setting and refresh the guide.
What to send to support
Include your state or postcode, device model, player name, feed label, displayed guide time and what was on screen. Keep login details out of screenshots. These details make it easier to reproduce a mismatch than a message saying only that the guide is wrong.
